In 2013, Black Friday laptop deals were offered in plenty and as such, they caught the fancy of a majority of shoppers. More than 150 laptop deals on 20 odd stores, offered laptops on rates that were regarded as the lowest ever seen. A brief recap of some of the popular laptop deals of BF 2013 are as follows:

  • Lenovo Laptop (Store-Best Buy)

Lenovo G585, although a low end laptop, but given that it was available for just $188, made it a good deal. A low budget Lenovo CPU and RAM wasn’t good enough for multi-tasking, but was ideal for light-duty work.

  • Dell Inspiron (Store- DELL)

Available for $299.99, Dell Inspiron specs included 14.1″ screen, Intel Core i3 processor, 4GB RAM, 500GB HDD, 1 DVD+/-RW made it an ideal machine for heavy-duty work.

  • Compaq Presario Laptop (Store- Wal-Mart)

For those looking for a basic laptop, Compaq Presario was one of the ideal choices with specs including specs: screen of 15.6″, AMD C-60 CPU, 2GB RAM, 320GB HDD, 802.11b/g/n WLAN, 3 USB 2.0, 1 Ethernet, 1 SuperMulti DVD Burner, 1 2-in-1 memory card reader. It was available for $179.

Black Friday laptop deals are likely to increase this time around. It is safe to assume that the total number of Black Friday deals will be 50% more than the last year. Going by the official announcement of Wal-Mart, it is going to have its biggest Black Friday ever. This will result in other stores in the fray to offer similar to competing Black Friday deals to raise their game and attract customers.

As things stand today PS3, Xbox 360 and some old but heavy-duty laptops and tablets will be available at extremely affordable prices due to the arrival of PS4, Xbox One and some new Tablets respectively, which are fast becoming the ideal choices over their predecessors.
