There is one house in the neighborhood where we bring our kids trick or treating that goes all out with their decorating. The house brings people from all over. They start weeks in advance and it is quite an undertaking. Not everyone can commit to such a project and do it year after year. The good news is, you don’t have to spend weeks decorating to add some Halloween charm to your home. Check out these great Halloween decorations I found at Lowe’s
If you want to quickly make a big impression, a large Halloween theme inflatable will do that. Lowe’s has a large selection of decorative inflatables. I really like the Gemmy, huge, 8’ by 5’ lighted Minion Halloween Inflatable. This inflatable features energy efficient LED lights. There are many others to choose from including Disney, Start Wars and more.
Welcome guests to your door with the Holiday Living Festive, Brightly Colored Topiary. Put one on each side of your door or use one as an accent on your porch or at the top of your steps. This 30” high topiary features a nice assortment of leaves, pine cones and grapevine accents. You can even add some festive string lights to really make it really stand out!
As I was browsing, I came across some Craft-Tex Freestanding Pumpkin Sculptures that really caught my eye. These are so nice and would look awesome in a grouping or on alternating sides of a walkway. They have a few different styles and I just can’t choose what I like the best. One of my top picks would be the “Boo” design with black buttons spelling out the word “Boo” on a contrasting orange painted pumpkin. These sculptures are made in the USA and are hand cast in a pecan shell resin that gives them a very realistic appearance. Flip that color combination around and you have orange buttons spelling out “Boo” against a black painted pumpkin.
On the subject of pumpkins, if you are not much of a carver, Gemmy has Push Pin Pumpkin Decorations that make decorating pumpkins fast and easy. If you are a Disney lover, you might really like the Mickey and Minnie Mouse versions.
Disney not your thing? Don’t worry, there are other designs like this Star Wars Darth Vader.
With all the trick or treaters coming to the door, welcome them with a festive door mat like the Natco, Happy Halloween style. This mat is done in black, orange, purple and white and features a white spider climbing down a web. I think it is just the right balance between scary and stylish.
Keep that welcoming spirit with the Holiday Living 24” Indoor/Outdoor Candy Corn Halloween Wreath. This wreath is handcrafted and adorned with candy corn ornaments and trick or treat sign. You can add some battery powered LED lights to really make it pop on Halloween night!
The Holiday Living Freestanding Jack-O-Lantern Greeter is made of metal and I think several of them would look great lining steps or as an accent. Just put in an LED battery operated tea light and they will light the way to the door.
How cute is the Holiday Living Pre-Lit Freestanding Ghost Lantern with Twinkling Color Changing LED Lights? It is more than cute, it is “Bootiful” and made of a durable terracotta material. The lantern has battery operated multicolor lights that change and create a spooky, fun glow in the night.
These lanterns are so cute, I was happy to see they also have a Jack-O-Lantern design. Since they are battery operated there are a multitude of ways to display them around your home.
Lowe’s has string lights, spot lights, projectors, fog machines and so much more to deck your house out this Halloween. Check them out and let me know what you like best.
