Late-breaking news! Kohl’s Department store recently released its unbelievably generous plan for the holiday season to make many children’s and families’ dreams come true. While shoppers are used to shopping the day after Thanksgiving, or Black Friday, starting early in the morning, this year Kohl’s is starting their Black Friday on Friday, November 23rd, the night of Thanksgiving when the clock strikes midnight. Night owls will have their chance to beat the early birds to Kohl’s for a shopping extravaganza.
Even more exciting, Kohl’s wants customers to “create their own dream holiday,” according to their mind-boggling press release. Kohl’s plans deep cuts and significant savings, slashing prices for struggling families. Kohl’s realizes that parents, even in a tough economy, still want to provide their children and loved ones with a special Christmas-a “dream holiday.”
Dream Receipts: Are you ready to hear how Kohl’s is going to help families achieve this dream? Well, Kohl’s plans to pay for the entire bill-yes, all receipts-of an in-store shopper each day from November 23rd through December 24th! Kohl’s will also do the same for online shoppers each day at Kohls.com!
Powerful brand portfolio: As a Kohl’s shopper, spend a little or spend a lot. Shop all day if you like, enjoying Kohl’s brands such as Vera Wang, Candie’s, or Mudd, along with national name brands such as Mattel, Fisher-Price, Nike, Adidas, KitchenAid, and many more. No matter how much you spend, if you’re the lucky shopper picked on that particular day, Kohl’s will reimburse you for every penny you spent. What a deal!
“Pay it Forward” promotion: If that isn’t enough, as the lucky winner, you will also get a $10 gift to give to another lucky recipient in Kohl’s “Pay it Forward” promotion. Kohl’s gives to you, and you give to someone else. The gift that keeps on giving! And at the risk of sounding like a game show host-and that’s not all! Yes, there really is more than that!
Toys Donation: Kohl’s goes even further, also helping to make needy kids’ dreams come true by donating to Toys for Tots. The way this works is that for every “Like” that Kohl’s page on Facebook gets, Kohl’s will give a dollar donation to this worthy organization. That’s one dollar for every “like,” so spread the word to your Facebook friends!
Shopping online: Mark your calendars to get started shopping on midnight of November 23rd for Black Friday specials. However, if you had rather shop online, you can get started even earlier than the 23rd at Kohls.com. Hop on your computer for online deals starting on November 21st through Thanksgiving Day. Look for the same brand names that you see in the stores, and enjoy free shipping, too.
Gift Cards: All the cool deals and surprises just don’t seem to end! Besides Facebook’s and Kohl’s teaming up to help Toys for Tots, they also are giving all Facebook fans chances to enter a sweepstakes for $100 gift cards, so keep a lookout for that, too!
Mobile: A new mobile app for your phone also allows in-store shoppers to get to lists that they have created online. Yes, Kohl’s continues to add more perks to their already great shopping experience. Kohl’s still offers great discounts and irresistible incentives for using a Kohl’s card, with $10 awarded for every $50 spent.
What a plan by Kohl’s for the holiday season! They are definitely the store to visit from Thanksgiving through Christmas Eve. Now, I’m not always a big shopper during the holiday season. I do like to shop online in an effort to avoid the crowds, so I am more likely to take advantage of Kohl’s online sales, sitting on my couch in my slippers, sipping coffee, while taking advantage of some amazing online specials.
Still, the in-store specials are tempting, too, so Kohl’s press release may have been just the trick to get me out of the house and down to my local Kohl’s store this Thanksgiving after enjoying my turkey and dressing! One of the most exciting things in all these promotions is to think that your entire bill-even if it’s $500 or more!-could be paid if your name is chosen one day during the month of Kohl’s efforts to make dreams come true. I also love the fact that Kohl’s is reaching out to needy kids through Facebook and Toys for Tots.
Kohl’s has my vote this season! They are providing so many opportunities for shoppers to save and to make children’s dreams come true this Christmas season. Really, there is no way to lose at Kohl’s or Kohls.com. Kohl’s is the place all avid shoppers should lose themselves in this season.
