Not-So-Spooky Halloween Decor Ideas

We love Halloween in our house, but if there’s one thing I don’t love, it’s the gory side of Halloween. I’m not about cobwebs, spiders, goblins, zombies, and the undead when it comes to Halloween, and you can absolutely tell that when you look at my Halloween decor.

To me, Halloween is supposed to be fun for everyone. Yes, some people find the spooky, gory side of Halloween to be fun, but not my family. When people walk into our house, I want them to feel at home, even at Halloween time.

There are lots of fun, creative things you can do for Halloween decor without being spooky. Just amp up your fall decor, and you’ll be ready to roll!

Carve pumpkins from your fall decor into fun, crazy Jack-o-lanterns. Make it special for the kids, and allow them to carve their own. You can find special kid-friendly pumpkin carving sets in local stores. Just be sure to keep a close eye on your kids while they’re using them, as they will probably still need your help.

If you’re not one for carving, they also sell cute sets that will help you transform your pumpkin into something adorable without all the mess. Check out the promo codes Amazon offers, then head to their site and type in “pumpkin decorating kit” in the search bar. You’ll find everything from stickers to pieces that actually push into the pumpkin. So many different options, you could decorate all your pumpkins!

Now that you’ve got your pumpkin all decorated, let’s think about all the other cute things you can do. Lights can make any decor theme more beautiful. Paper lanterns can take that one step further. Right now, I want you to check out all of the amazing promo codes and deals for the Paper Lantern Store. They offer so many gorgeous items that will transform your Halloween decor into something spectacular that everyone will be raving about. They won’t be running in fear, they’ll want to stay and just admire everything you’ve done.
