Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, Virginia
For nearly 30 years, Busch Garden’s Williamsburg location has been voted the most beautiful theme park in the world. Aside from both thrilling rides and rides suited for the littlest of visitors, this location has an animal park component where the animals are well loved and cared for, and a waterpark to help you cool down in the summer heat. You’ll also be exposed to a little culture as the park’s theme is based on European countries—six of them in total.
Busch Gardens in Tampa Bay, Florida
Busch Gardens’ Tampa Bay location boasts the best coasters in Florida. It is also home to an animal park with a strong emphasis on conservation, and lots of live shows. There is a water park across the street, but you’ll have to pay a separate admission to go. While the Williamsburg location is open for certain holidays throughout the off-season, Tampa Bay is open year round.

Free Busch Gardens Tickets for Active Duty Military and Veterans
If you are or ever have served in the military, you can get into Busch Gardens for free once per year through the Waves of Honor program. If you’re active duty, a reservist who has been activated or is currently drilling, or currently in the National Guard, you and 3 of your DoDs get in for free at either park. You have to register online before your trip, and be sure to bring your military ID’s with you the day of so they can vet them against the name on your free ticket.
If you’re a veteran, you can get in to Busch Gardens Williamsburg for a discounted rate during their Christmas Town celebration from late November through the end of December. You and your family will get to meet Santa, hang out with Rudolph and friends and check out some amazing rides and seasonal sights. The discounted price is $24. This offer must also be claimed online; they can’t give it to you at the gate.
Variations of these offers are also available for SeaWorld and Sesame Place. All locations offer the active duty discount, but only SeaWorld San Diego, SeaWorld San Antonio and Sesame Place offer a version of the veteran discount program.
