Super Easy Fall Crockpot Recipes

We at PromosPro know that you not only value your hard earned money, but you also value your time. So, we’ve compiled three of our absolute favorite fall crock pot recipes to get you through those (really short) fall and winter days, with as few ingredients as possible to save on that grocery bill.

Homemade, Super Healthy Oatmeal

Combine water, steal cut oats, salt and the fruit of your choice into a slow cooker. Turn the heat to low and walk away. It’s important to use steal cut oats in order to prevent mush. The whole family has breakfast. Instead of rushing around the kitchen and eating on the go, cut out the prep time and sit together at the table.

The Classic Garlic and Lemon Chicken

We particularly love this for the fact there are five ingredients, most of which you probably already have in the house. This is great when it’s the end of the week and you’re outta stuff to cook. Grab that chicken from the freezer and defrost overnight. Thanks to the Frugal Girls blog, here’s the rundown:

  • 4 Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
  • 1 can Campbell’s Cream of Chicken with Herbs Soup {10.5 oz.}
  • 1 can Campbell’s Cream of Mushroom with Roasted Garlic Soup {10.5 oz.}
  • 4 minced Garlic Cloves
  • Juice from 1 Lemon

Cook the chicken on high for 3 hours (or on low for 6) and then drain the juices. Mix together the rest of your ingredients for 30 min on high and voila! Dinner is served. And it’s really good.

Orange BBQ Chicken

Ok, this one is a little sweet and not exactly for the health nuts, but it’s really good, really easy, and really cheap to make. The only ingredients you need are chicken, BBQ sauce, orange preserve, and soy sauce. Seriously, that’s it. Cook your chicken, drain and cube, and then mix together the rest of the ingredients for another 30 minutes on high. Add microwavable rice for a complete meal!
